What an amazing journey along my agile path in 2015. Time to shortly recap the most important steps. Clustered in the topics:

Recruiting

While changing the workplace and starting with my current home base idealo I summarized my recruiting experiences in a three post series – perspective company, applicant, headhunter:

Animated description of the role of an Agile Coach

The next highlight and with so far 2700 visits position 4 in my hall of fame of all posts – the animated role description of an agile coach done with VideoScribe, including a brief describing of the way the video has been build.

Scrumban and Scrum 3.0

This year I helped introducing Scrumban in 8 teams (with different levels of involvement ;-), shared my experiences at conferences and meetups and published the following posts about this important topic:
Another important step for me was to get a bit more into metrics that can be used in agile environments. Struggling for many years to cover improvements with data, what I think is a really important step in argumentation especially in legacy environments – the following steps helped me to get started.
I’m not yet fully into it, e.g. running a Monte Carlo simulation is something on my list, but you know – 2016 is about to start πŸ˜‰

Working in a team with Agile Coaches

What a journey in a great team with Agile Coaches, that helped me discovering a lot of new possibilities to connect, exchange and discover new things.

Being part of that is for me highly motivating πŸ™‚

Retrospectives

For me the most important artifact in Scrum and a lot to discover and learn. Some articles, with

hopefully new input for every facilitator. More to come in 2016 – I’m quite sure that there will be next movements, e.g. in direction running solution focussed versions.

Complexity

Inspired by Niels PflΓ€ging I started investigating much more in that really important area too.

Awesome workshop experiences

Attending great workshops – a boost in learning, highly energetic and motivational when I get the

chance to meet great players in the agile world … special thanks to Roman, Markus and Judith, Ioana. It was a please to work with you in 2015!

Reading and Learning

What a reading journey. I discovered new ways to check for the sense of reading a book. I found great books that really inspired and helped me evolving. I guess I never read more before (ok nothing

compared to Luis Gonzalves πŸ˜‰

While writing this post I realized – wow – what great opportunities I had to further improve and walk on my agile path. I really hope that by sharing my experiences with you I make it a little of your agile path too? Your feedback is highly welcome – and really helps to adjust and take the next steps.

Thanks for reading, commenting, sharing, following and discussing throughout 2015. Hope to see you in 2016 and maybe some of your friends too πŸ˜‰
